  • How to Operate Multidirectional Forging Hydraulic Press

    1. Set process parameters:
    According to specific forging requirements, set the process parameters, including forging size, temperature, pressure, holding time, etc. These parameters will directly affect the forming effect and product quality.
    2. Install the mold:
    According to the shape and size of the forging to be processed, select a suitable mold and install it on the multi-directional forging hydraulic press. Ensure that the mold is installed firmly and stably.
    3. Prepare forgings and materials:
    Prepare the forgings and metal materials to be processed, ensure that their quality meets the requirements, and pre-treat them according to the process requirements, such as cleaning and heating.
    4. Adjust the forging hydraulic press settings:
    According to the process requirements and material characteristics, adjust the settings of the 1000-ton multi-directional forging hydraulic press, including heating temperature, hydraulic system pressure, workbench speed, etc. Ensure that the machine can provide appropriate working conditions.

    5. Perform forging operations:
    Place the forging in the die and close the die. Start the multidirectional forging hydraulic press (electric vehicle wheel hub), and apply pressure through the hydraulic system to cause plastic deformation of the forging. According to the process requirements, control the change process of heating temperature and pressure to achieve forging forming.
    6. Remove the forging die and take out the forging:
    After forging is completed, stop the work of the multidirectional forging hydraulic press, open the die, and remove the forging die from the forging. Then, carefully take out the forging for subsequent processing, such as trimming, cleaning, etc.
    7. Inspection and quality control:
    Inspect the forgings to ensure that the size, shape and quality meet the requirements. If necessary, make compensation or adjustments to achieve the required product quality.
